Nathan Hickey – Mountain Biking for PabloveMonrovia, CANathan formed Mountain Biking for Pablove to show his support for kids fighting cancer. To increase awareness and raise money, he rides his mountain bike for Team Pablove in races from March until September each year, and in October he and his dad ride together for the last 20 miles of the cross-country Pablove Across America ride. Ricky Springer – Racing for a CauseMcDonough, GAInspired by his battle with eosinophilic colitis, Ricky doesn’t want another child or any parents to go through what his family did on his journey to a diagnosis. He started Racing for a Cause to help educate others about this disorder. So far, Racing for a Cause has touched over 2 million people and netted over $4,000 to help Ricky meet his outreach goals. Mariah Reynolds – Just One Heart, gLOVE One Another, and Heal the SoulCincinnati, OHMariah was born to volunteer. Since age 6, she has put in almost 5,300 hours of her personal time to different causes and raised more than $29,000. In addition to volunteering for a number of charities, she even started three of her own: Just One Heart, gLOVE One Another, and Heal the Soul. Read her full entry here. |

Rujul Zaparde – Drinking Water for IndiaPlainsboro, NJRujul and his friend Kevin Petrovic see the world as their community. Together they started Drinking Water for India to build tube-wells in remote Indian villages. So far, Drinking Water for India has built 31 wells (at $1,000 each), which has given more than 55,000 villagers access to clean water. They’ve also inspired and motivated over 450 students from 23 schools across the United States to join the mission. Read his full entry here. |
